Nice, and I liked the sound track too, but daaaang it seems hard. Maybe I'm just not much of a "twitch" gamer anymore though. I do however remember a game design guidelines article in Game Developer magazine about a bzillion years ago with a subsection titled "Your Game is Too Hard". I think this might still be a truism--us game developers are crazy hardcore enthusiasts that often forget that not everyone else is.
My suggestions would be maybe put in game difficulty levels that the player can choose, or, just have the game start easier and gradually get harder. I know, those are easy things to say. Anyway, just my thoughts and I'm only one guy. Make more games!

This version of LaserCopter Inferno is sooo much nicer than the original that it feels like a whole new game. Billy Collins' dedication to his craft is noticeable, always looking for improvement. A few days ago I tested this game and noticed one detail missing that is actually a great deal in this kind of game: at game over you couldn't play again by pressing "Enter", you had to reach all the way to the mouse to click on the "play again" button. I took note of this in order to tell Billy but there was no need. The next time I played LCI II the option was there like magic!
There is considerable amount of improvement, from ease of play to graphic design, passing through almost all aspects of a casual game's structure. The music and sound effects are very becoming to the point that I never rushed to click on the "sound off" switch. I have played it a lot with the intention of reaching the end but I've failed. I only wish I could save my score... and not be killed at the first time I get shot... maybe Billy is reading my mind again now?
Overall: very enjoyable experience. A 4.5 star rating to me but since there are no half stars I give it a 5.

I have gotten mixed reviews on this game. Some people love it, some hate it. Graphically its not very astounding. But I find its retro look sort of appealing. It sort of reminds me of pit fall (only going sideways).
As it stands the game is very simple but I think it has potential. I will be working on a new version of the next couple of weeks. Suggestions are appreciated. Have fun!
