Thomas Martinsen recommends using a Silverlight Splashscreen in case your application takes some time to load. He gives a careful explanation and provides code to achieve a simple but very useful loader screen. Good news for some: it doesn't require editing in Blend.

An Audio and Powerpoint walkthrough from GameFest 2008 on how to build a game with Silverlight 2 using Visual Studio 2008. It is not the most recent stuff and its a pity there is no video included. Topics include creating game UI, integrating media, setting up game loop logic, animation, web services and multiplayer networking.

This is part 2 of the 3 part series "Designer / Developer Workflow", called "A Step-by-Step Introduction to Styling, Templating, and Animating in Expression Blend". I found it relevant to the Silverlight gamers community because it focuses on starting a project from scratch and clearly divides the tasks and sequence to be worked on by both the designer and the developer. I feel it is suited best for people who are discovering Silverlight.

I found this very useful. It's an article series that cover the following:
Module 1: Getting Started – Architecture / Framework
Module 2: Movement and collision detection
Module 3: Design – Sprites, boards and dialogs
Module 4: Animations and sound
Module 5: Initialization and Deployment
Module 6: Advanced concepts (Physics, Multiplayer, Optimization)
I believe the last one so far is module 3. Interesting.
