Mashooo.com is proud to announce the first ever, world open, Silverlight game development contest.

It is an open "no holds barred" style competition, meaning that people from around the world are free to participate and there are no theme limitations. Just bring your talent and zest for Silverlight game development and show the world what you can do.

We have already witnessed great potential and we are certain that once more talents from all over the world start to get their hands dirty in Silverlight game development we will all be in for a treat. We believe this will boost the Silverlight game industry light years into the future.

As always we do not require complete exclusivity or limit where you can distribute your game, meaning you will be free to publish your games on other sites (more details will follow). On top of this all entries will be eligible to participate in Mashooo's ad revenue sharing program.

As for the awards, we have already raised some money and secured a lucrative prize for the top finalists. We are actively looking for more sponsorships, not necessarily monetary, but especially products that can help Silverlight game developers and designers. We are in the process of contacting major players in the field to ask them to contribute development tools as prizes. We will publish more details and the official contest rules in the near future.
